In the previous episode of her UK TV show The Talk, Sharon Osbourne reveals name of grandchild from her daughter Kelly. She also confirmed that Kelly had already given birth with boyfriend Sid Wilson.
In an Instagram post in May last year, Kelly Osbourne announced that she will be a mother and is ecstatic about it.
The former Fashion Police host had been seeing Sid Wilson, the DJ for the heavy metal band Slipknot, at the time. They started as friends until the relationship lasted for 23 years.
After the first announcement, Kelly has not posted anything about her pregnancy journey on her social media channels. Although in another IG post, she shared that she has been sober for a year in the same month. She also mentioned that she would have laughed at anyone who would have told her a year ago that she was going to be sober, happy, and having a child.
In early November, she posted an Instagram story in which it said “Okay, here we go” against a black background. People have speculated that Kelly was already going into labor in time of that IG story.
In a UK TV show The Talk in which she is a co-host, Sharon Osbourne opened up about her life as a grandparent.
When asked for her reaction to news about grandparents being too busy to help their families, she responded from her own experience.
“When my son lets me, he doesn’t let me do it too much because I spoil the kids too much and he has to deal with them when I drop them off!”
Sharon, now 70 years old, has a total of 5 grandchildren. Four of them are from her son Jack Osbourne – 10-year-old Pearl, 7-year-old Andy Rose, 4-year-old Minnie Theodora, and 6-month-old Maple Artemis. Her fifth grandchild is a baby boy of her daughter Kelly named Sidney, derived from his father’s name Sid Wilson.
When asked about how Kelly and her infant are doing, Sharon said that they’ve been doing great. She also added that Kelly does not want to share a picture of her son yet with the public. For that, Sharon expressed how proud she is of her daughter.
In an interview with PEOPLE, Kelly admitted that like all new parents, she was also experiencing pre-baby nerves. She said that she was terrified but also excited to welcome her baby into the world.
Kelly added that she doesn’t want to be a perfect mom but she wants to be the best mom she can be and that’s why she overthinks everything. Luckily, her brother Jack Osbourne and his fiancée Aree Gearheart helped her with the pregnancy.
In her Instagram post last October, Kelly revealed that she was diagnosed with gestational diabetes in her third trimester. This was after she urged her doctors to check her sudden weight gain, unusual fatigue, and ankle swelling. Later on, it was disclosed that it was because of her cravings for sugar during pregnancy.
She took to Instagram that she’s taking the pledge to join the fight against the overconsumption of refined sugar. Together with No Sugar Company, they want to inspire others to want healthy for a long prosperous life.
